I’m having the name of the ***** image hosting site (spelled I.M.G.U.R.) get the censoring asterisks treatment, and it’s preventing me from posting images from there.

Have you tried tinyurl?

Edit: just checked, it doesn't work, the hosting website will detect from where the connection originates and serve a different content, not just block DNS acccess. They put more effort into guaranteeing that they don't expose themselves to UK regulation than other websites.

@Morrus: can you see the image (thus allowing you to moderate the content)? It would seem to be a very easy way to defeat the hosting site inability to operate in the UK, but maybe they didn't put a lot of effort into blocking?
Nope.

I'm afraid you'll need to use this site's native image hosting functionality.

Hotlinking images is generally frowned upon anyway. Many platforms won't let you do that, as you can't control when that image will go away. Plus, it leaches the bandwidth of the hotlinked site to the benefit of the site you're hotlinking from (and, depending on that site, can actually bring them down if the traffic is high). We'd much prefer you did not hotlink images on external sites.
