Notes on the Aether (Rae judging)

"The spotlight?" asks Keldar. "Oh... You must be referring to those expensive plays performed in the evening, where wizards are hired to cast spells on the players' boots or hats so they glow like lanterns. I always think it looks ridiculous, but fashionable ladies love to be seen at such performances."

"Even though her life's been hard and violent,
Every day she grows in grace and stature,
And Keldar will not let his voice fall silent
Until all men have heard the name of -"

"You know, yours is not the easiest name to rhyme."

OOC: Good news, I might have limited internet access. I'll be leaving Monday some time, and be back in about 2 weeks (Possibly Saturday the 3rd). NPC me as needed over that time please. I will try to stop in though, and hopefully will level up soon :)

OOC: Are you guys waiting for me? I guess you are... :)

After a short walk, you arrive in Grenton. The impromptu barricade from before is now manned by one young man. He looks incredibly bored as he half dozes while leaning on some wooden crates. The tired adventurers trudging up the road liven his day, and he jumps up. "Hi! D'ja put out the fire?"

Scrubbing his sooty face, Tarag says wryly, "Well, at last count we've put out eight fires. There are only about a dozen to go!"

"Now, what's the best inn in town?"

OOC: Yes, waiting on you for awards and such too :) I think other than the chance for a little RP, we plan on resting, and perhaps springing for a healing potion of some kind for Mr Galwynn so we can head back mostly healed.

OOC: But if we spent two nights at the inn, Tarag and Galwyn could probably provide all the healing necessary, and still be fully 'spelled up' for the final phase.

ooc: And, of course, Tommy desperately wants to know what we got out of Thyrin's bedroom.

OOC: Two nights, yep. Another potion of CLW is still a good idea. Keldar's potion probably saved Galwynn's life, and you never know when Tarag will be unable to get there in time, or will need saving himself. Keldar can't UMD Tarag's scroll just yet!
