[Nov] What Are You Playing?

First Post
After finishing Jade Empire I decided to finally get around to playing tLoZ: Majora's Mask and the one day it decided to super freeze on me I played some Four Swrods Adventure in it's stead.

I finished Final Fantasy Adventure (old B&W GB) about 3/4 of the way through Oct and had a good time with it (as I've never played any of the Mana games before/yet).

I'm now mid-way through Dragon Warrior III (GBC re-make). I've always been a bit of a DQ fan and had a reasonably good time with DW and DWII back in the day - and I'm really enjoying myself with this one. The DQ/DW series improves by leaps and bounds each iteration.

WoW... still....
I think maybe curb my WoW-time a bit more until the expansion comes out.

Been playing Dawn of War a bit too.

Ordered NWN2 and maybe it will run on my machine in some fashion. Guess I will have to get more RAM and a better GFX card, though, at the very least. ;)

Bye

Still churning through Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. Not as fun for me as the original DoW, but still very addicting. Playing as the Space Marines with the Orks, Imperial Guard, and Tau deaded so far. Assaulting the Chaos Marine stronghold as we speak.

Rise of Legends and Warcraft III are on the shelf waiting to be played.

Primarily I'm waiting on Gears of War for the 360 to drop on Wednesday. There are a bunch of good 360 titles released or soon-to-be-released that I'm keeping aside as rentals for after Gears: Splinter Cell Double Agent, F.E.A.R., Rainbow Six Vegas, and CoD3.

I tried out Allegiance (an old Microsoft multiplayer space sim that is now freely available online and has a sizable community). I didn't care for it much.

So I've gone back to Thief 2, playing through it for the second time. I'm also on my second playthrough of Eternal Darkness. Chatturga must die!

I would be playing NWN2 right now, but (grandma unfriendly sailor-speak stuff removed) Best Buy, whom I got my preorder from, decided not to put their stock on the shelves today. I didn't feel like going through the hassle of having my preorder refunded, and I would have had to travel a bit to get to an EB, so I said screw it. I'll try and pick it up tomorrow, but I'm going to see Queensryche play in Albany tomorrow, so even if I go and pick it up at 10am, I won't have too much time to play. Grrr.

Sorry, mini-rant.

Okay, this is officially the month where I start to get mad at the gaming industry. They release an average of at least 2 really good games per week after looking at all the releases across all systems. *sigh* Not enough time to play 'em all! :( But I digress since I'm sure many of you have the same complaint.

Since you asked...

Games I'm actually playing:

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (360)
Phantasy Star Universe (360) - Multiplayer only at the moment
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)

Mind you, those all JUST came out.

Games I want to play if I can find the time:

Resident Evil 4 (GC)
Dead Rising (360)
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360)
Galactic Civilizations II (PC)

Game I will buy if I pick up a Wii:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

Random Game I play with my GF:

Super Smash Bros Melee (GC)

Games that I want to play but don't have the time - Part II:

SimCity 4 (PC)
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (PC)
Civilization IV (PC)

Game I want to buy but for some stupid reason haven't:

Guitar Hero (PS2)

Game that is still sitting unplayed but purchased over a year ago that I pre-ordered:

Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2)
