How do you figure? Sure, with what they had planned for WC3 a few years ago, it might be true. That was innovative. Of course, it was scrapped, as Blizzard has realized it doesn't need to be innovative anymore. Everyone will buy their derivitive games anyway. When are they going to make a game that doesn't end in a number?
Blizzard caved to pressure. Warcraft III is a good ol' fashioned RTS now with races, buildings, units, attack/move, resources, and groups as always.
Though they added hero units that you can power up during gameplay to help out. And a great number of other improvements similar to the jump from WC II to SC. But when it boils down to it, it's just another real time strategy game from the company that makes every one of their games game-of-the-year by someone's estimation everytime they release something.
