Let me guess. Item level requirement can only be turned off at the DM level when they create the module right?

I would like to know as well... the thing is, I felt I was doubly penalized in the main module for not resorting to XP cheese, such as killing the nurses in the first hallway so you get a quick XP boost.

I completed the game at 16th level, and I couldn't use the ring of power, the amulet vs, lizardmen etc. etc.

Two more levels would have made me far more than two levels more powerful.

And what's with the Arcane Casters getting more XP anyway?

It can also be turned off in all single player games by opening up the file "nwnplayer.ini" in the directory you installed the game to and changing the line under GAME OPTIONS:

Single Player ItemLevelRestrictions=1

to

Single Player ItemLevelRestrictions=0

You wouldn't believe how excited I was when I found this.

Thank you very much sir. This is much appreciated.

BY the way. Thanks a lot to whoever moved my thread.

You have nicely gaurunteed that my thread will be lucky to get 10% of the responces it would have had before.

I am not talking about the game FORMAT (IE electronic vs pen and paper).

I am talking about the implemented game rules and the campaign itself. Both items that mean nothing vs the digital format.

But thanks again for nothing.

That's a bit harsh Doc. Everyone lives by the same rules. The mod's are just doing their job. NWN is software; thus it belongs in the software forum.
