Ok, i'm not changing this date anymore. This is never gonna happen If it keeps moving back.

I've chosen the date and time and location!

Kings Games in Brooklyn NY is the location for the ENworld Gathering!
www.kingsgames.com is the site.

The Gamday will be On October 11th, Saturday Morning.
Kings Games will be open 10am - 2am on that day so we have roughly 16 hours of gaming time.

Hello. I'll be running a Vampire the Masquerade single game session.
The session will be using mostly standard core rules of the revised edition.
The only main exception to this rule would be in character creation - see bottom.
Since its a solo game, I won't be incorporating merits or flaws into character creation.
Characters may be of any Camarilla or Independent sect except Assamite.
Hopefully, we'll be able to incorporate all of the player's characters into the same corterie.

As for character creation, the following set rules apply:
Attributes: Start at 1 in each, adding 8 / 6 / 4 (max 5)
Talents, Skills & Knowledges: 17 / 11 / 7 (max 4),
Disciplines: Take Three Clan plus *any* one more
Spread 7 total points between the Four Disciplines (max 3),
Backgrounds: 15 points (max 5), Virtues: 8 points (max 5),
Status or Fame greater than 2 is restricted for this session.
Freebie Points: 50 (discipline max 4, all other ranks max 5)
Since this is a one time game, no Merits/Flaws will be accepted.
Assign Freebies as per normal rules in page 104
Characters must use Humanity & Conscience ratings.

The admins will not sticky it. Only important announcments get sticky.
I need to keep this post on the front page cause it apperas a few NY'ers, like Negative Zero and Ed Cha and a few others havnt seen or posted yet.

Either way, I need to keep it up front. I'd like more then 5 people to show up for this gameday otherwise i'll be very dissapointed and never run one again.

Dude, relax. If 5 people show up to this gameday, then great - mission accomplished, and you can enjoy a job well done AFAIC. Those five are in for some great gaming among friends. We can't expect Chicago's gameday turnout on our first time out you know.

If King's Games works out (and I think it will - I'm even considering crossing the bridge to check it out) we'll have a friendly establishment willing to host us for an entire day, and that's the hardest part.

Actually when I first posted about this back in august they were BOTH very intrested in attending and were just waiting for solid date. The previous thread showd lots of intrest as well.

Both Ed and Neg just havnt been posting much latly so thye havnt seen it. People can just be buzy.

I'm bumping so it stays up front and so should they post around they not miss it or anyone else that MIGHT be intrested not miss it.

If you choose not to go because i'm trying to keep the thread active, well its your loss. Kings Games is a great place and Enworlders are great people, for the most part anyway.

When I do something like this, or the FLGS thread, or the Enworld Gallery, i put a lot of focus into it (focus better spent on homework). If it fails and doesnt do well. I just guess that there wont be a next time for you to go to.

Mike, i forget which two busses cross the bridge but I belive they both take you to 86th Street where you can catch the R Train.

From there take the R to Atlantic Ave (Or Pacific, i forget). At that stop switch to the Q Express (if its a weekday) or Q Local (the one that heads towards coney island and brighton beach). Take it to Kings Highway, Its a few stops before the last stop so its easy to find on the map. Once you exit the station you should be under the train bridge (assuming you take the center exit) right on kingshighway. Make your way down to E 12th st. You'll see Bank construction and an EB Games. Hang a left towards the construction and right behind it is Kings Games! If you exit the station on e 16th st just walk up towards all the traffic and you'll be on Kings highway.

I should be there tommorw afternoon and possible friday since I have the days off from work.
