Oathbound: Eclipse

Didn't see it there and didn't hear anyone talking about it here, there, or anywhere. They did a good job of keeping this secret.

I'm reading my copy now. The book is focused solely on Eclipse and not the rest of the setting, but from what I've looked over so far, it's lost none of its edge. I particularly loved the page that reproduced the menu from a restaurant that caters exclusively to vampires - they've got a great deal on blood that's fresh from a newborn less than an hour old.

Colopitiron, by the way, is the one writing this gazetteer, so he's clearly still up to something. ;)

There is a different, pdf only, book that updates the setting to Pathfinder. I believe that it will be released second for some reason.

What I do know is that they decided to go with the third version of prestige races, the one from The Player's Guide to Oathbound. The powers costs feats and ability increases instead of xp or levels. I like the idea, I just wish it wasn't watered down like the levels in Wildwood.

Hey all Todd here one of he creators of oathbound and the lead designer on Eclipse, just thought i would jump in here and say hi to you all, we were at gencon and Eclipse was for sale for the first time. It is great for greg and i to be back in the drivers seat for a world we created almost a decade ago. The fans we got to meet and the fun of triumphant return to the gaming world was great. It is due to be released the same time as Eclipse hits the selves late Sept, early Oct. Greg and i are hard at work finishing it up now. In addition a free adventure for Eclipse is coming to are website i just got my hands on it from the writer, Jeff Welker, who was also a designer on Eclipse and he really gets the setting. Actually we are not going with the third version of prestige races from the players guild the rules will be far more like those found in the original Oathbound i will try to pull greg away from the final work on oathbound 7 to give you a clear idea or you can check are forms at Epidemic Books - Latest News

Okay, either version of PrRs works for me. I might even use both with a little boost to the Player's Guide version.

And good to see you here, Todd!
