We gave away about 75 copies of the world map from pages 72-73. This was a copy without map tags, allowing the DM to show his players the world without those nagging questions like, "Hey, what's this Arena thing?!"

This reminds me of an adventure for a Swedish RPG, "Marsklandet" (roughly "The Marshes" or "the Delta"). The adventure took place in a swamp/marsh-like area with lots of small islands, high grasses and stuff like that, where the PCs were supposed to locate the ruins of an ancient wizard's academy and recover an artifact. To their help, they had an incomplete and slightly erroneous map made by a previous group of explorers (this was included as a handout). The adventure assumed that the PCs would learn the location of the ruins either by exploring the islands systematically (which would be rather time-consuming) or by talking to the inhabitants of the marshes.

However, the handout map had a few small white spots on it where the previous group hadn't been. One of these white spots was a *lot* bigger than the others, prompting many groups to say "Hey! I know, let's go check out what's in that big white spot first!"
