Could it be that this thread is just a sneaky subliminal message telling people to read The Hobbit? After all, if you take the initials of the thread's title you get OIN, one of the dwarves in the Hobbit....

Sorry, just happened to notice Oin's name in the thread title. The Iconic Psion is Iadodoble or something like that...

Right... ya something like that. Anyone know the exact spelling?

And no, I wasn't doing anything subliminal. I saw the animated version of the The Hobbit once but never read the book.

The psion on the sixth page of the Psionic's Handbook (the girl that is using a power to manifest the little flying creature) is named Alexandra, and she's supposedly a Nomad, at least from the text in the Psionic's Handbook.

the animated version got the points across quite nicley as i recall. though you should read the book knightfall. it's short and easy to read. also cheaper then LOTR most places.

Ialdabode, our resident head-shrinker and taunter of Mialee.

Haven't seen his opportunistic self around these parts lately...

The female fox hengeyokai is named Hideyori. It's on page 31, second column, the stuff about spellbooks.

The sohei (who is not human but bamboo spirit folk) is named Bujiko. Check the description for the feat Roundabout Kick on page 65.

And are these names official for the listed Iconic or are they fan created?

Ma'Varketh - iconic psychic warrior - PsiHB page 14
Kazak - iconic psion (savant) - PsiHB page 61

Ye gods lad! We're on the payroll, so we're as official as the rest of 'em!

Ye can find our names in the PsiHB somewhere, though yer askin' the wrong dwarf for page numberin'.
