D&D 3E/3.5 Od&d -> 3.5e?

So... has anyone started developing an Original D&D -> 3.5E conversion yet?

All right, settle down, it's not going to be that bad, after all there have been several done for 3.0E, like Keep on the Borderlands (thanks so much!), but I want to skip the step of having to convert to 3.0E before making the slight tweaks necessary to be 3.5 compliant. I am have started a conversion of one of the modules and want to go back through from the beginning for 3.5 before I get too far.

Thanks!

The only D&D I've ever played was OD&D. Out of curiosity I have just bought the 3.5 rule books and quite like the look of it. I'm not sure what direction to go in yet, i.e. start with new characters or convert, but I'd be interested in anything on OD&D -> 3e/3.5
conversions. I think initially, it would only be for the PC's, rather than any settings/dungeons/modules. Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Wish I could help you out, but I think 3.5 may be the best to convert directly to, and skip 1E & 2E. The hardest thing to really get used to are the feats and how they really empower the PCs to do a lot of extras during a fight. It's more complicated than OD&D to be sure, but it's also pretty fun for the players and easy for them to keep adding on to their PC each level.

If I find or create something I will let you know, but I don't think it's going to be easy.
