I don't know if this is the place to do this, but does anyone know a place like this for Basic D&D? Or any good sites about it? Please post back. See ya!

*Edit: just helping a bit with the title. See if this helps you any. --Dinkeldog

I must say, that is the longest sig box I've ever seen...ever.

As for your question, beats me, I'm too young to know much about Basic D&D websites.

Heh. I agree with both people on all counts, except for the bit about being too young. I cut my teeth on oD&D, and remember those simple and halcyon days fondly...

anyways.

The only site I've found is http://www.dnd.starflung.com/ in my few travels. It's not too shabby, and links to the webring. I haven't searched around too much, but I'm sure it's a good place to start.

Richard Tongue has a great OD&D site and webzine called OD&DITIES. I don't know the URL off hand..try a google search for it.

Also www.Dragonsfoot.org has a classic D&D section for the original game and the later B/X etc. sets.

Thorvald Kwiksverd(spelling?) is a failry regular poster here who has a really cool OD&D rules site. I'm sure he and Diaglo will post some more as they are the resident OD&D fans here(As am I, but they spend more time on those sites than I).

Thanks

Thanks everybody... Hey, guess what! It's 11:18, I'm really sick... And I can't fall alseep... Isn't that great?!?! Anywho, I just thought I'd spend my time reading up on D&D stuff... And I have to be at school in 9 hours... And I don't think I'll be getting any sleep for at least two hours... Hehehe... Oh wait... Dang! Oh well! Thanks for the help. See ya!

moth reporting in.

i saw your light on. :D

there are groups and clubs on yahoo or other sites, too. you might want to do a search there for Original D&D. and Basic D&D, although it was never basic to me.
