Odd request and help

Does anyone know any movies, tv shows or anime show good use of summoning creatures to help the character? Its for a project I am working on.

Yu-Gi-Oh - summons creatures from the cards
Power Rangers - at least the original series, the bad guys summoned monsters to kill the power rangers
Full Metal Alchemist - tries to summon people back from the dead and ends up summoning homonculous
Digimon (?) - summoned the inner power of the creatures to help them evolve

If you can use a play, there's Faustus. He summons spirits and all sorts of stuff throughout.

In "brotherhood of the wolf" mani apears to summon wolves to him to asist him, but its more a "called" than "poof" summoning.
