Nrf = Class that has been nerfed in the last edition/errata/sourcebook.
Brk = Class that is broken in the last edition/errata/sourcebook.

It all boils down to that, basically.

Whi = Whiner who doesn't like any change, even if it's much better than before.

It's the favoured class for humans, at least in the RPG "Message Boards"

The abbreviations for the core classes, NPC classes, and core PrC's should be listed in the DMG somewhere.

I know that Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting lists abbreviations for all of its PrC's.

I don't think there are "official" abbreviations for the zillions of other PrC's founds in other WotC books.

To avoid confusion, I always write out the full name of the PrC.

I think I remember a big fat list of core and splatbook abbreviations in the guidelines for submitting an adventure to Dungeon Adventures. That was before 3.5 though, and those abbreviations might not be official, but conventional enough for you.

Thanks Diaglo and Mark.
I was just curious if WoTC had a set list of these.
Apparently they only have a limited list.

Keep in mind that any list you find is likely to be out of date, since WotC stopped using class abbreviations as of 3.5. Doesn't mean you can't use the old ones, of course, since the names haven't changed. Just something to consider when conducting your search.
