Official WotC Power Cards... meh

Looks like we finally see what they've been working on all this time after all of the great cards that were designed here. And the winner is... exactly the same as the cards from the character generator.

Use Character Builder and it generates them for you, including hit and damage bonuses. Very handy.

I was aware of that I was pointing out that these cardstock ones won't do that.

(Not that the Character Builder always gets it right, Turn Undead doesn't work for example).

Being a comptech IRL, I definitely know enough to double check the output

If they aren't already then it could cost a small fortune to laminate the cards, in order to be able to mark bonuses on them in grease pencil

They probably expect people to use card sleeves like used in MtG.

Meh, I'll stick with the community cards and the cards generated from DDi.

Yeah, I'd much rather just use the cards out on the web. This card doesn't even have anywhere to write your bonuses down. WTF?

Now, if only someone would finally get around to making some Martial Power cards....

Yeah, I don't see myself moving away from color laser + cardstock for power cards anytime soon.

Still, for those without easy access to color printing, it might be worthwhile. Heck, it might even be economical if people are using a color inkjet to print.
