Heh.

Have you actually started writing it yet?

No I havnt started actually writing it into paragraphs or explaining it with detailed text (obviously thats not easy for me :) ) So it is currently just a collection of Charts, Systems Mechanics as I said this stuff is impossible to copyright at least in its current form of strictly game material.

Table formats are often copyrightable, of course.

Still, you're premature asking the question. Come back in a year or so when you've written it, the legal situation may be very different.

Okay then, next question: What would you do if someone were to announce in this thread that they were going to steal your car & computer sometime this week?

Currently the project is close enough to a complete game system (still not eligable for copyright) to start investigating its uses as just that a game system. If I was to actually write it out this could increases the risk of copyright infringment.

Well if I thought there were people on these messageboards mean enough to suggest they would do somthing like that (or suggest someone might) I never would have started a thread here. I probibly would have gone to Dragonsfoot, RPGnet, RPG site or even the WotC boards to avoid this kind of juvinile behavior.

But if someone like you were to announce that I would not be concerned because i guess lame threats like that happen all the time on the internet.

My point is this: theft is theft, and it's not a victimless crime.

What you're proposing to do in this thread is steal something that rightfully belongs to someone else. They'll probably feel bad about that.

Like, with lawyers.
