Ok, EN Vets, I need your help...

Ok, what kinds of skills/ feats or whatever would I need to aquire a cool mount w/o having to punk out and take a Prc that give a Magical Mount, so basicly what im asking...how go you go about Taming and Training Animals in D&D, namly a Dire Lion or something along that lines.

I expect to get cussed out by a few ppl but hopefully someone can be helpful :)

It's a skill in a little book called the Player's Handbook (or PH for short).

It's actually handle animal, I always reverse those words and make it like animal empathy. Handle animal allows you to train any animal.

I'm not sure what your asking. THe skill allows you to train animals and beasts. It is not magical in nature. Using the ELH I think you can also train vermin and magical beasts, but those DCs are really high.
