Okay, almost my entire party has gone evil, now what?

Any other advice anyone else has for running an evil campagain that won't dissolve into backstabbing would be great.

The most important single advice I can give you for running an evil campaign is to give the PCs an in-character reason why they won't betray each other. In your case:

1) The fallen paladin and fallen cleric seem to have found a solid relationship there, so you could build around it.

2) Fear. There is other bad out there. and there are good guys out there. And they're all gunning for the PCs. They have to stick together.

3) Powerful evil lords who might be ticked off if there servants are offed. If the wizard with the evil book should decide to off the cleric and paladin (assuming he could in the first place ;) ) Grazz't might become miffed.

4) Confort. It's nice to have those asme companiosn, even if they've turned into degenerate monsters, aid you in your quests. You know thre capabilities and personality quirks, and you don't have to house train new minions....

Basically, the point is to make it abundantly clear that although they can be evil and backstab everybody else, they "need" each other.

Another important points is that they have to accept the differenc between OOC knowledege and IC knowledege. You will usually have to at first stop every once in a while for a time out and remind people it's a game. Let the tempers cool off.

Good and evil invoke philosophical and moral issues, elves and dwarves don't. What's so hard to understand?

I've had more philosophical and moral issues over dwarven and elven lifestyles and cultures than I have over evil and good. For one, why they generically dislike each other so much, theres just no reason. Share the love.

As for your other comments... Im blocking them from my head so I dont retaliate ... happpy thoughts... damn gnomes
