Old shows that you enjoy?

I concur with The Avengers, Man from Atlantis and Dr Who listed above
me and my brothers use to try to emulate the man from Atlantis swimming style :)

Also
Lucan

which of course was trying to capture the popularity of

Automan
I had forgotten about "Lucan", but definitely watched it. Part of the mid-'70s 'wolf boy' craze, a little late to the game.

I think the only new-to-me pre-1990s thing I've enjoyed in the last decade was the original Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) and Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta (1981). I couldn't get through Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ despite the animation being hugely better - the characters are just too grating (and given I was able to deal with Camille in Zeta, that's saying something!).

I have recently started watching Peter Gun on Prime. The use of music to quickly set tone is amazing.

I discovered Peter Gunn in reruns, about 10-15 years ago - and I love it! It’s the best old show I’ve come across this century. Moody, atmospheric, great soundtrack, and sometimes amazing.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents is a close second-best discovery. Sometimes directed by Hitchcock, often featuring great guests/directors, and all standalone stories.

It looks to be available on Tubi, Prime, and elsewhere.
