Carl Sargent
Lisa Smedman
Nigel Finlay
Aaron Allston

Carl dropped out of the game industry in a rather spectacular way and it's unlikely he'll return. Too bad, as he did some good work during his tenure.

Lisa Smedman is a novelist these days and has been writing a lot for WotC.

Nigel Findley died tragically of a heart attack at the age of 35. He is still missed.

Aaron Allston is also writing novels these days, particularly Star Wars stuff. As Chuck notes, he did write the latest version of Champions for Hero, which was released last year.

Doug Niles--are you sensing a patten here?--is a novelist.

Zeb Cook has been in the computer industry for many years now. He was just recently recruited to work on City of Villains (the followup to City of Heroes) and was at GenCon with Cryptic Studios.

As I understand it, Len Lakofka didn't like 3E so much that he abandoned role-playing altogether. Apparently he plays a lot of Contract Bridge these days.

Cheers!

Erol Otus? Dave J. Browne? Scott Bennie?

Erol Otus was out of the industry for a while from what I understand but has recently returned to do some artwork for Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics series.

If I'm not mistaken, Scott Bennie is still in the industry and posts to these boards as MulhorandSage.

I don't remember Dave J. Bowne.
