OMG, I just realized who Doctor Octopus is...

He was also the wolf hunter, Cezar, in Ladyhawke. His characters liked to die on sharp objects in his early career. Spear trap in Raiders, wolf trap in Hawk. Gruesome.

Y'know, one could start a whole topic on "Big-Name Actors who Spent the Early Part of Their Careers Getting Violently Killed". Samuel L. Jackson comes to mind; I think Pulp Fiction was the first film he survived.

He's also getting great reviews on Broadway this season in "Fiddler on the Roof."

But Hugh Jackman is favored to win the Tony Award for his role in the musical "The Boy from Oz." Yes, Wolverine sings! :D

Never heard of "the Boy From Oz" but Wolverine does sing in Oklahoma!

Same for Dylan McDermott. He was in some recent romantic comedy where he actually lived through the entire thing, unlike In the Line of Fire and Runaway Jury, where he was shot in the head.

Samuel L. Jackson tried to rob MacDowell's in Coming to America, and he made it out of that alive, though he did have his ass whupped by Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall. That had to sting.
