Oirhandir turned from the newcomer to Nodis. "Sadly, there won't be an inn around every bend in the road", he observed. "We will have to camp several times, although the occasional stay in a lodge would be most pleasant. Why not divide this equally, and let each make his or her choices on how to best spend their share?"

"Ok, let´s divide it then" shrugs Nodis, opening the pouch.

Nodis shakes Aiken´s hand. "Good to meet you"

Oirhandir took his share and slipped it into the pocket on his haversack reserved for coin. "You're late", he said to Aiken with a grin. "If you'd met up with us earlier, you could have had your fill of thumping those thieves."

OoC: Equal shares is 15 gp, which is about a month's trail rations apiece. It's also enough to get Kali a donkey or mule with change left over, if she wants to go that route.

OOC: Indeed I would if a mule or a donkey will bear me. Bront what say you. The rules are silent here. A pony is too small, but the mule and donkey entries don't address riders.

Kali takes her share and tucks it away in one of her many interior pockets. Holding out her hand to Aiken she says "Welcome"

OOC: A mule can accept a rider, but since it moves at 30, it won't speed you up, only keep you a bit better rested. People ride them all the time. They are a little stuborn though, so ride checks may have a slight penalty.

OOC: Alright, I'll save the money and walk. Now I have seen detailed listing of XP on sheets by adventure, need I desginate how much and where I obtained the gold?

"Ready when you are Oirhandir" says Kali

OOC: Nope, I used to do that, but it was way too much bookkeeping. I'll have XP for you all tonight. Corwyn, let me know when you're actualy approved. I know KO looked at you.

Oirhandir sniffed the air of Orussus, somehow, it was less dank than other cities of men. His travels would carry him far away, would they ever bring him back here? He had promised the others that they would return, so he decided that it was likely that he would. He glanced at his fellows.

"Perhaps it was fortuitous that we were set upon so, before our journey had even begun", he began. "Had we not been delayed, Aiken would have never found us. And aside from him, our purses are all heavier for our trouble. Give me a moment, and we'll be off."

Oirhandir stood by Hiriloce's muzzle, gently stroking the beast's head. He began speaking in a soft, low voice. Those who stood near him heard him pray: "Lady Phyrah, please guide your travelers on their journey. Speed their progress and see them to their destination. Place the wind at their back, and may the road be always open in front of them."

Wordlessly and swiftly, he mounted the smart little bay. Grinning broadly, his heart lifting, he announced to his companions: "To Rheim! For love, and for adventure!"

The little band moved proudly through the streets of Orussus.

Aiken says Thanks and shakes hand with kali.

OOC - 1 Bront I'm approved now by both judges.

OOC - 2 What about doubling up on a horse? Would that speed us up enough? Or isn't it worth the trouble?
