OOC: did you have a watch order?
[sblock=Watch Order]Oirhandir has stated that he has first watch, and Aiken that he has last watch. Nodis should either take first watch with Oirhandir or last watch with Aiken, and Aiken probably needs the help just a wee bit more than Oirhandir. Lupic has the best eyes at night, and should probably take 3rd watch. That leaves Kali on 2nd watch for:

Oirhandir
Kali
Lupic
Nodis and Aiken

Hmm. Given that, Oirhandir will probably choose to rest wakefully during Kali's watch, and slip into trance during Lupic's.

Any disagreement? Speak now or stand your watch![/sblock]

OOC: Sorry, lots of stuff happening in RL. Thanks for the bump though :)

A few days further south, and the landscape begins to change a bit. You notice a complete lack of pines now, and the trees are fuller and a bit bigger. The weather seems to be just a bit warm for a fall day, but that doesn't seem to bother any of the occasional travelers you see.

The stars seem brighter, Kali particularly notices them durring her watch, as a clear night is quite beautiful. The occasional howls in the air, and the dimming coals of a fire are all that draw your attention away from the sky. The wind is rustling the trees, and one bush in particular infact seems to tremble in the wind, almost pecularly. Oirhandir seems oblivious to all but the sky himself as he relaxes in his wakefull rest.

Aiken regales Lupic with tales of his exploits, grand and embellished of course, as they ride during the day just to let time pass quicker. Not that it distracts him from keeping an eye out on the surroundings to see if anything is creeping up on the party as we travel.

OCC Greetings everyone I'm back.

OOC: Sorry, it appears Fenris is on vacation and has had limited time up till now. I'll continue on without him for the moment.

Kali moves carefully over towards Oirhandir, quietly enough to suprise him a bit. She whispers, "There's something odd happening over there I think." Pointing to the bush.

Having used no magic the previous day, Oirhandir was less displeased by having his reverie broken than he might otherwise have been. "Really? I'll take a look", he responded, and proceeded to do just that. Oirhandir was not as alert as he could have been, though, and saw nothing.[sblock=OoC: ]Let's just try a simple spot check on the bush; d20+4=7, well, not much there.[/sblock]

Oirhandir is startled as he's jumped by a creature with distinctive wolf-like features. It bites Oirhandir hard and growls ferociously.

Aiken opens his eyes to see blood driping from Oirhandir as he faces an odd wolf-like creature.

Kali screams, and runs to wake Nodis and Lupic up. Lupic opens his eyes immediately, but Nodis doesn't seem to awaken as quickly.

Oirhandir...

OOC: I need actions from everyone. If you can give me more than a round out, that'd be good just in case. I'm open to contingancy plans. Oirhander takes 9.
