Once Upon a Rheim (Erekose13 Judging)

The search turns up nothing, particularly identifying, other than the obvious clothing trade, and Oirhandir isn't sure he'd recognize Lord Valdor's crest anyway, if he even has one. However, he does notice that there are a few drag marks around, perhaps 2 more bodies were removed from the sceem.

"Why would some be dragged away?", Oirhandir thought to himself. "Unless...this was a kidnapping, not just a raid!" He turned to his companions. "Over here...drag marks...look!", he commanded. An idea quickly formed. "Can any of you follow these tracks? Have any of you skill at that?"

"What happens?" asks Nodis a bit confused, then he quickly figures out what the problem is. "No, I´m not a hunter. But I bet the ones that this this came on horseback, and these don´t like dense forests too much. If we find out in what general direction they left, whatever path or small road there is there must surely be the way they took. Until we arrive at some plains, but then we may be able to see them, since they don´t have that much of a lead."

"No I don't have any skill at tracking, though let us follow what drag marks we can find. Perhaps odis can create one of his constructs with a nose to track with?" offers Kali

"No, The don´t work that way" answers Nodis. "But we should start by asking the survivor before leaving the place. He must know something, and just looks tired now that Oirhandir mended his wounds."

The drag marks are not very long, but are noticable only by the presance of blood. Once they end, so does the blood trail, and any hope of finding them without some tracking skill.

OOC: Just an FYI, they're not very long, like someone dragged in to the woods, more like someone dragged a short distance before being picked up.

Oirhandir did not want to accept that there was nothing more to be done until the man he had healed rested, but grudgingly admitted to himself that it was so. "All right", he conceded, "Let's take this one back to camp and rest until morning. And we can see if any of the trade goods can be salvaged. I'll go get my horse." With that, he strolled over to Hiriloce and untied the beast, stroking him and using soothing words to calm the animal before mounting up.

"At least I can sleep now. " grunts Lupic as they finish with what he considers a pointless diversion from his much needed beauty sleep.
