Once Upon a Rheim (Erekose13 Judging)

"Lupic, that thing is using magic, or whatever!" shouts Nodis. "Don´t grab, just punch!" at the same time he´s saying this, the constructs continue attacking the beast, their big fists hitting the fur with mixed success, when one of them puffs away, turned into white mist that dissapear in the blink of an eye. Nodis starts concentrating to bring a replacement into play.

[sblock=ooc: ]If the blinking beast tries to get up (edit: or use more spells) that possibly means attacks of opportunity. They hit AC 15 and 17 (not cointing any bonuses) and deal 7 and 5 damage, respectively. Regular attacks hit AC 23 (7 damage), trip total 21; and AC 12 (5 damage) trip 5. Rolls here

First construct dissapears after making it´s third regular attack.

Nodis starts manifesting astral construct again, spending 3 pp.[/sblock]

Kali will draw her other short sword and strike twice at the creature while trying to keep herself between it and Oirhandir's prone form.

OOC: [sblock] Two weapon fighting (short swords not a rapier btw Bront), if possible with a flank to get the sneak attack damage, but primarily to keep the beast away from Oirhandir [/sblock]

Aiken snarls, slightly frustrated as he just misses the creature and he redoubles his effort to hit it.

[sblock=ooc] Aiken will keep trying to trip the creature if it tries to get back up.
Also he will continue to attack it with flank if possible.[/sblock]

Lupic punches the creature, but his fist passes right through it.

The creature's features become more wolf like till it appears like anormal wolf, as it stands on it's four legs. No one manages to hit it as it stands.

OOC: Fenris - Sorry, that's right. Didn't mater you didn't crit earlier. You do realize you're at a -2/-2 to hit with two weapons right?

Next Round
Nodis's constructs attack the creature, one connects and tries to trip, but ends up falling. The other fails to connect. The one that fell then disapears.

Kali steps into the spot where the one construct was protecting Oirhandir, and hits hard with the second short sword, drawing blood.

Aiken decides not to trip the now four legged creature, and simply attacks, missing badly.

Lupic...

Nodis, human shaper 3, AC 16, HP 21/21, PP 6/17

Milky, misshapen clumps of otherwordly material start to pop in and out of existence, punching the poor wolf´s hard and probably giving him a big headache. The last one appear where it can do the most damage, but being Nodis more concerned with the one already in existence can´t do much. The other batters the thing without care before dissolving.

Nodis tries to calm and build energy, but with all the conmotion and the power spent, he´s unable to.

[sblock=crunch: ]The second construct looks for a flanking position (even if it has to move more than 5 feet and provoke attacks of opportunity) and attacks, hitting AC 18, dealing 8 damage; trip total is 21.

The new one also appears where it can give a rogue flanking bonuses, but only hits AC 8. All attack rolls here. Edit: attacks totals include flanking in this post (not so in invisiblecastle)

Nodis fails his concentration roll to build psionic focus.[/sblock]

Aiken is frustrated and decides to change tactics.

[sblock=ooc]Aiken will aid kali (+2 to att) and if kali isn't flanking at the moment seek to flank the creature with her. If she is flanking Aiken will try to flank with someone else, using tumble if necessary to avoid AoO[/sblock]

Kali will continue to strike at the creature, keeping it away from Oirhandir.

OOC: [sblock] Hmmm You're right Bront, don't know why it's only -1 on the sheet. I had a weapon finesse glitch upon creation it may be a hold over from that. In any case She'll continue with two attacks, luck plays a bigger role right now than a +2 :) [/sblock]

An utterly confused Lupic will continue to swing away at the creature.
[hmm, somebody may have to invest in a magic weapon methinks]

buzzard

Lupic strikes the creature, and it happens to actualy be there this time. It reacts to his punch.

The creature bounds off between Aiken and Kali, giving the two a chance to attack it one last time. Kali's strike misses, while Aiken's bounces off it's hide ineffectively.

In wolf form, the creature quickly disapears into the woods, and does not seem to leave any signs of a trail.

Combat Over?
