The days ride is uneventful other than keeping poor Oirhandir in the saddle, as he seems a bit unsteady today.

There is a good place to camp on the road, as you seem to be making reasonable time.

OOC: did anyone want to do anything to help Oirhandir beyond just a days rest?

OoC: Uh, by my math, Oirhandir should be at 13/15 hp before the level up, and 17/19 after. Either way, he should be at full hp after tonight's rest. Or is there something else wrong with my favorite elf?

"Really, a cleric should see you, Oirhandir. An undead thing took a bit out of me once, and a cleric did some mumbo jumbo with some sparkling dust that put me whole again." says Nodis. "But it was expensive, that´s true."

Some time later, as they group lays camp, Nodis suddendly raises his head and starts exclaiming "I got it! of course!"

He then concentrates and creates one of the constructs you´ve seen him bringing into existence before. "Look! Isn´t it great? uh? uh?"

Kali stares at the new construct and shrugs her shoulders. "Yeah, and.......... It looks just like all the others. But if we can find a healer of some kind we'll have them look at Oirhandir's wound. But until we do, we need to wait."

"Like the others? I bet you haven´t seen many of them anyway." says Nodis. "But come on, look. It hasn´t dissapeared yet."

Certainly, the thing is still there, while normally they pop out of existence in a few seconds.

"Puppets are strange. The difficult part isn´t building them, is to make them stable enough. I can gather so much stuff that I could build one as big as an inn, but the problem is, it would go away in a fraction of a second. In fact, as more effort is put on them, they dissapear even quicker, thoug I didn´t realized it until today."

"The solution is easy, then. Make puppets using little stuff. If you use very little of it, it dissapears at a very reduced rate. I doubt they´ll do anything in a fight, but I bet they are handy to have around. Go and bring some firewood"

The construct does as commanded without question.

"I´d have to experiment with them a bit more and see how can I shape them."

OOC: Doh, missed that extra healing. :o You're fine, though still likely a bit wobly in the saddle simply from the trauma of last night :)

Fortunately or not, the next few nights seem to be quiet. The temps are noticably warm for the season compaired to Orussus, and nightfall comes a bit quicker than you otherwise might expect. Still, Oirhandir thinks they're just a day or two out of Rheim at this point as you make camp.
