Kali will then draw her bow and keep an arrow nocked, drawn and ready, but will wait to see what the nature of the movements are, if threatening she will fire.

OOC: Fixed it for you :p You're not up yet though...

Kali watches carefully as she prepares to fire if the intent appears hostile.

Nodis turns to Aiken. "Well, not much more than we already knew." says. "Maybe we should try to find out if Garza has been trying to adquire elf slaves for any reason - Scarlet may not be the only one. Or if elf slaves are particulary valuable."

Not cowardly, just sensible. Oirhandir, having no ranks in ride, fights much better from horseback when he doesn't have to engage in melee.

Besides, so far, this encounter just seems made for a little bow-work. And Oirhandir is still miffed that he hasn't fired a single successful bow shot since helping dispatch that dragon over a year ago.

Good point Says Aiken. We'll just have to try to chanel the questions with that in mind and figure out Garza's role in all of this.

OOC let's see what this nets us.

OOC: Very close on the side of the road, you could engage one easily, though you are on horseback. The 2 in the threes are impossable to reach without a reach weapon or range.

Lupic will dismount, since he's not much of a mounted combatant. Then if they make a threatening move, he will engage the closest one in his typical fashion.

Lupic dismounts and, waiting for a responce...

Kali spots one of the arches drawing the bow back and lets loose, missing the man.

The archer fires back at Kali, missing wide.

The other archer fires at Oirhandir, but misses.

Oirhandir chimes in with a couragous song, inspiring his allies.

One thug moves to engage Lupic, Lupic easily grapples him and twists him in a way man was not ment to be twisted, and he screams out in pain, and falls unconsious in a bloody mess as Lupic's spikes pierce him grotesquely.

The other thug closes in on the Lupic, and swings his longsword, missing the half-orc.

The third thug closes to Oirhandir, striking him hard with his longsword.

The last thug closes with Lupic, swinging at him and missing.

Oirhandir tossed his chimes by the side of the road, hoping to recover them later. The whip or the sword? He decided to draw his own longsword while riding away from the man who had struck such a painful blow, using the weapon to keep his assailant at bay.[sblock=OoC: ]Dropping chimes is a free action, Withdraw is a full round action and should take him 80 feet from the longsword-armed thug as Hiriloce is at medium encumbrance. If you allow sheathed weapons to be drawn simultaneously with Withdraw, then he draws his longsword as well. If not, he doesn't.[/sblock]
