"Well, with luck, the next thing that precedes me should be the point of an arrow!", retorted the bard.

"With your luck, I'm not holding my breath" counters Kali with a wicked grin

Combat:
Kali fires, but the arrow gets tangled up in the trees, and fails to hit it's target.

Both arches return fire at Kali, one finds his mark, striking dangerously close to an artery with a hit.

Oirhandir withdraws, drawing his longsword as he does.

OoC: While we're waiting for Lupic...

IC: "Kali! To me!", cried the bard. Couldn't she realize that she was in over her head? Oirhandir quickly cast a healing spell upon himself, recovering most of the damage that the man with the sword had inflicted upon him. The elf sheathed his sword, and unlimbered his bow. It was time that these thugs paid for their attack![sblock=OoC: ]Yup, this is for the next round, after Lupic and the thugs have acted. Oirhandir will move far enough to keep the swordsman off of him (single move, 40' of movement available). He will also cast CLW, and d8+4=6, so he is at 15/19 hp. The rest depends on movement...if he has to move to avoid the swordsman, he won't be able to sheath his longsword, and will keep it out. If he doesn't have to move, the CLW is a standard action leaving a move action, so he'll sheath his longsword on the move action.

In the unlikely event that he has to make a double move (80') to avoid the swordsman, obviously some of this will change.[/sblock]

Kali, nearly falling over in her saddle, does as Oirhandir has instructed and rides back to a postion behind the bard.

OOC: [sblock] Full defense![/sblock]

The next close by opponent gets one of Lupic's special embraces. While he's at it, if possible, he'll do a casual intimidate on the rest (not a real check, just a free action means of putting them in the right frame of mind).
"Lupic will kill you all!!"

buzzard

Lupic fails to grab one of his opponents.

The two thugs on Lupic attack, and one connects with a moderate blow. The third one lets Oirhandir ride off and goes after Lupic, flanking him and striking him as well.

Kali rides over by Oirhandir. Both arrows flying at her missing badly.

Oirhandir... (Can't sheath the sword, get the bow, and cast, so cast and what?)

Since Oirhandir didn't have to defend himself, he sheathed his sword and cast a healing spell upon himself.

"Kali, you look hurt", he called. "Come to me and I'll heal you!"

OoC: 15/19 hp. If none of the thugs try to chase down Oirhandir, he'll cast CLW on Kali and draw his bow next round.
