Scarlet rides over to Oirhandir once the combat has died down, "You alright hon?" She asks.
One of his friends was barely alive, another barely conscious, and a third looked like a hearty slap on the back would knock her out cold. After healing himself three times, Oirhandir still had enough scrapes and bruises that he would be sore for days without the benefit of magic. But at the sound of Scarlet's voice, all that was forgotten.

He bounded over to Scarlet's animal, nearly spooking the beast. "Scarlet!", he exclaimed, "I've missed you so much! Thank all the gods that you're well and here to receive my embrace!" And with that he eased her gently out of the saddle, letting her slide slowly down his body as his arms folded around her shoulders.

It was soon obvious to Kali that Scarlet and Oirhandir liked each other very much. They were oblivious, attentive only to each other.

To avoid the embarssed silence, and awkwardness of being the fifth wheel. Kali turns to Lupic and Elise and tries to do what she can for their wounds, or at least make them more comfortable.

Swinging mood again, Nodis seems quite happy now, riding his horse again after the hours spent riding toadstools at dim taverns. Or maybe it is the beer consumed - he has to descend from the horse several times and hide behind some bushes.

Anyway, he feels good enough to manifest some sugar for his horse* and animatedly discuss with Aiken the details of his last adventure with the undead infested mine, including details so debatably funny as shambling corpses being cleaved in twain by an axe. Soon it clear for Aiken that Nodis has a unusual understanding of what's fun when he comments "Seriously, you had to see how they kept lurching forward with all their bones broken. You could even see then sticking out of their wounds! Then I nail one of them with a flask of that, uh, holy water of the mortalists and, can you believe it, the undead dude starts sizzling and dissolving like cheap soap! How cool is that, huh?"

*ooc: using psionic minor creation

"I wasn't expectin' ya quite so soon, nor here like this," Scarlet says. "We've not heard from Lord Valdor since we arived at the plantation, nor recieved any supplies or wagons to pick up goods. We came back to find out what's wrong. Ye're certaintly a pleasant suprise"

Lupic is stable, but wounded badly, and will need likely rest or healing.

Furhter advancing to the south, with Nodis speaking about his recent adventures ("Have I told you about the bats that attacked us in the way? They were THIS big!") the pair finds a place where a recent battle has taken part. Anyone can see the stains of blood and other signs of fight.

"Woah!"

[sblock=Bront]Not my intention to work as DM, but this seemed evident. Correct me if I stepped out of my bounds. In any case, it's another way to bump the thread - maybe no one else saw it when you posted.[/sblock]

OOC: Time wise, you're more likely to meet them if they head back to Rheim, but that's not a big deal. I was hoping for some posting from Elise, Kali, or Oirhandir, in reaction to what's up, but to move things along...

Things happen as Someone said.

Elise doesn't make much a reaction to the events, other than to stand, hand on her side. She slowly looks around, seeming a bit dazed or out of it.

XPAWARDS! (Condences do I can search for them next time, stupid leter min.)

Scarlet kneels down by Lupic, "Is this your friend?"

Once she gets a positive responce, she pulls out a small kit, and tends to a few of his wounds. Lupic eventualy regains consiousness, though barely.

OOC: Lupic/Buzzard, you still with us? Sorry for the delay. You're not healed, you're effectively staggered and then some, but you're awake.

In the road, Nodis looks worriedly around and then dismounts to check the area. "What do you think it happened here?" he asks Aiken.
