I'm assuming that Oirhandir and Co would be heading back to Rheim, which means that Nodis and Aiken are more likely to run into them either at the scene, or before they get there. That's what I thought you were insinuating, that you met up with them. My mistake.

ooc: Actually, I was faily sure the main group was/is going to stay at Scarlet's place for the night, being seriously wounded and all, so Nodis and Aiken would meet them there, not on the road. In any case, we can throw this in the sack of examples of why you shouldn't split the party. An now I'll wait to read where is everyone, instead of DMing myself .

"We were ambushed on the road. Lupic nearly was taken. I am still not sure if it was simple banditry, though it seemed more organized and purposeful than that. In any case we were going to see you, though I think we should all head back to Rheim tonight. Oirhandir and I are badly wounded and Elise and Lupic barely able to stand. Here help me put them on the horses." asks Kali to Scarlet.

One the wounded are horsed Kali turns to Scarlet
"I don't think we were properly introduced. I am Kali. I accompanied Oirhandir here to find some adventure. I think I have found a bit too much too soon" she adds with a shy grin.

"Rheim is a good idea, I'm wonderin' why Valdor hasn't sent anything to the plantation in a while. Your friend here can use my horse, I kin walk."

Assuming no one objects, Scarlet, Kali, and Oirhandir help Lupic up on his horse.

ooc: Must be one of these time paradoxes that happen in this world, like when two parties that leave the RDI at the same time arrive back too at the same time, but one has been adventuring for 3 months and the other for 5 days.

IC: Being almost dark, Nodis can't see the party's condition and greets them cheerfully. It's not until he's close that he realizes how are them. "But what happened? Looks like you passed through a meatgrinder."

"We were ambushed. 4 or 5 thugs. They nearly dragged Lupic here away. I am still not sure why. But come we need to get back to Rheim, Oirhandir and I are barely standing and Lupic and Elise are barely alive. We all need healing and rest.

"Our day was much more boring. We've been asking questions, and think that Garza man is the one. We don't have any solid proof, though. We need to make him commit a mistake, or capture one of his thugs."
