Pathfinder 1E [ONLINE] Pathfinder: Worlds Largest Dungeon

The "+2 armor" bonus to AC is from the (size large) leather barding, btw. Costs 40 gp. If you want something cheaper, Padded barding is only 20 gp for +1.

Yeah I missed that last night. Can't afford to buy barding for Donkey so he's just gonna have to stay out of combat, or start earning his own keep.

Fixed AC for "Donkey the Mule" on character post.

I just downloaded Gametable a little while ago. Read some of the basics, decided to try out the die roller. And holy crap! If I can't use them, it's ok. :)

Wow, nice. The Gametable die roller isn't screwy is it?

You can go ahead and use them if you want, we're going to be using the die roller for in-game stuff anyway.

Plus WLD is a pretty tough campaign, I've heard about groups getting wiped in the first play session from other GMs. Having the characters be a little more beefy will probably level the playing field a bit more.

Oh, are you guys going to be using one of the existing pogs (in your gametable install) to represent your characters/mules, or find your own? I don't care what you do, but I don't think there is a "mule" tile (we could use the dog tile though). Just make sure that we all get your files if you decide to go with your own. I highly recommend using Dropbox for filesharing since it is freaking awesome.

My Character
Longsword +3 (1d8 +2, 19-20/x2, S)
Club +3 (1d6 +2, 20/x2, B)
Club (ranged) +3 (1d6 +2, 20x2, B, 10 ft)
Sling +3 (1d4 +2, 20/x2, B, 50 ft)

I'm curious, how did you come up with all of these nice masterwork weapons? Forgive me if I'm missing something, but I doubt you could have afforded these with your starting default gold. Or do the "+3","+2" mean something else?

Thanks. All it actually did for me was an extra +1 bonus in str and cha, but that'll be nice if we reach later levels. I don't think it's screwy, I tried rolling some more and was getting scores between 5 and 18, though for the most part 4d6h3 was giving 11 or more. That might be statistically normal, though.

Hmm...I might look for a pog for Grenseal, just need to know how to make it a pog. Not sure what to do for Mustafa. Mules are large, too, so the pog would have to take up 4 squares. Or can you just click + drag to expand them?

You just need to find an image, shrink it down to 64x64 pixels and then make the background transparent using Photoshop or Gimp. If you have an image you like, I can probably do it for you.

I think that those are with his CMB and STR bonus added in. I know it took me a minute to make the connection too.

I'm just using the Dog pog resized to 2x2 for my mule. and one of the orc looking character tiles for my PC.I might get into making custom ones later. I have Adobe Design Suite CS4 and I'm not afraid to use it.

Hmm, tough to decide. And I may have botched shrinking them. Probably want to use one of these 3 for Grenseal. Maybe I should just change his physical description to match the pictures...

I'll be PMing you guys my IP address in a couple hours. Hope to see you guys there at 7:00 PST! Let's plan for the game to last about an hour and a half - hopefully most of our preparation will be done and we can get right into the game quickly.

Just a couple things to be prepared for:

1. Although Gametable can theoretically have an infinitely-sized map drawn on it, my laptop starts to slow down after a few hundred squares. So I will have to delete pieces of the dungeon as we go along. So I advice at least one of you keep your own map if you need to backtrack and for sharing with the others in the group (and please don't use WLD spoiler maps!).
2. Since WLD was original designed for D&D 3.0, some of the encounter information will be outdated for Pathfinder. In most cases, I can convert the stats using new data, but be aware there may be some slight differences in values (eg monster HP, trap damage, etc).
3. The game will start with a short prologue in a beginning location that I have made up. Just be aware that you'll be restricted to doing only a few things there, so no wandering off on crazy side adventures. You will be set free once we're in the dungeon.
4. If you can, get some of your character dice macros set up, before hand. Also, if you click on your character pog, you can set a Name and labels. It would make it easier on me if you included your char name and some of your more important stats (base-ability scores, AC, current HP, etc).
5. Although I've DM'd a few times before, there are still many Pathfinder rules I'm still learning, so be patient with me if we have to go consult the rulebook with things like CMD/CMB, many of the feats, etc. However, don't be afraid to use them, I'm excited to see how they work out.

That's all I can think of for now. See you later.

It looks like we are having some problems hosting on my IP address. Can someone else host, if we can't get connected to my IP?

PM all of us your IP and port if you wouldn't mind, as a backup plan.

Session tonight wasn't bad for a first run. Had a few hick-ups but nothing that won't get worked out soon enough.

While I can swing 2 hour sessions a couple times a week I just can't be available until 10:15pm EST any night other than Sunday (no work). I get off work at 10pm and it takes me about 15min to get home, so that's about the best I can do mon-sat.

I can't help but think we should consider using something like Maptools instead but I don't really know enough about the software to say.
