It seems that after a period of relatively smooth noon-ish sailing (noon in the USA at least), we're back to the slow, bogged down noon days again.
I noticed that over the past few weeks many of the features have been turned back on, and I was wondering if anyone is keeping close tabs on which things seem to have what impact on performance.
I'd rather see those features turned off if we can actually post things for a greater portion of the day. I know there is some talk of getting more memory for the server (and the provider's demands for ungodly amounts for an upgrade sound ridiculous to me), but I'd like to see what we can do in the meantime. I'd hate for these slowdowns to drive people away - but not being able to post or sometimes even access the boards for 40% of daytime in the US is difficult to work around.
