I'm confused - are we thinking Ann Arbor-ish now or still sticking with the Canada idea?

Scyld and I are in either way - we're about an hour from Ann Arbor and an hour from Windsor. We could probably pull along a couple more with us too, from our game....

I think most all of us are in regardless of whether the event is held in the U.S. (Ann Arbor or elsewhere) or Canada. We just need to settle on a suitable location and hope that someone (or several someones) are willing to assume the mantle of Gameday Organizer.

I don't know much about Windsor, so all the suggestions I've been thinking about have been on the west side of the river. Garden City is a suburb west of Detroit, UofM could be in either Ann Arbor or Dearborn.

As QB says, though, I'd do just about anything as long as I have an address so I can look it up on Mapquest!

I'd certainly be interested in attending, and I might be able to talk a few other London ON folks (and maybe TO folks, too) into getting involved as well.

Maybe a poll is in order to determine where the majority of the people would prefer to play?

I think were we play will be dictated by what we can get, not necessarily what we want. Someone with some connections (please, there has to be someone! ) needs to chime in and present a real, solid location.

No point in voting on phantom locations, IMO, unless we know what will be actually available. What if the most votes were to come in for, say, London, and then nothing ever turned up in London as a viable location?

Well, my thoughts were, seeing as how we don't have a firm contact in any of those places (correct me if I'm wrong), that we could decide where the most people want to go and try to find something there. If that doesn't pan out, we go to the location that got the second most votes.

Maybe I'm making all of this way too complicated. Entirely possible. Feel free to thwap me with a fish.
