D&D 5E (2014) (OOC) (5E) The Village

So far we have the druid, rogue, fighter, and cleric posted in the Rogues Gallery.

Everyone else get your characters posted before the end of the weekend. I'd like to start the IC thread on Monday.

When your character is complete and final, please post it in the Rogues Gallery.

Are you ok with a partial built being posted, then completed over the next few days? I tend to build characters that way... I would be done by Sunday of course.

I've almost talked myself back into wizard. I almost switched to Bard, cause the character I want to play is more of a Bardish character, but I think Wizard will do fine, especially once we get past the yucky level 1. That shouldn't take long, shouldn't it?

Any reason why you chose wizard? I too thought it was bardish.. nothing wrong with wizard, just curious why you went the wizard way instead.

Better spell selection. And I get a familiar right off the bat (no pun intended). I didn't really want to be a skill monkey, the Charlatan background gave me all the skills I wanted, and I didn't really want him to be a musician or orator. It just didn't fit the concept. He's more of a rogue than a Bard. I could go Arcane Trickster, I suppose, but that means I have to wait until level 3 to get spells. I don't know if I want to do that.

Ahh I see. It is a weakness of 5e I find, first level characters can feel "incomplete". It's a design choice that has advantages (especially for multiclassing and the "one level dip") but it has costs too.
