D&D 5E [OOC] A Light Hearted Princes of Elemental Evil Hack and Slash

Dent would only be concentrating on bane. The only reason I ask if divine smite will jack that up is because divine smite takes a spell slot to use (even though it is not a spell per se).

Hey, in other news I wanted to say that I'm not expecting Dent to level up even if the four characters who kicked off the campaign do. It'd be awesome if we were all on the same timing for level ups, but if it just doesn't make sense, don't be shy about saying so.

The party will all level up at once. I'm using milestones so there wouldn't really be any way to "catch up" till you take the next major milestone.

I don't think that's an issue.

It shouldn't be. The only time you have a problem maintaining concentration on a spell when you cast another spell is if the new spell requires concentration. Divine Smite isn't a spell, so it's cool. With that said, the spells that are X Smites are generally concentration, IIRC, which is why most people think them subpar compared to Divine Smite.

Also, Damien's pact blade is considered magic. But if I'm the only one who can damage him in melee, I'm going to need to drop Darkness so Thaliss and anyone else with spells can contribute. So someone's gonna need to protect me a bit.
