Torhan grimaces and shakes his head to clear the mist from his thoughts. He was sure, on some level, that this foul city would be the death of him.

Considering that it was the building, and not the monster that did him in... I suppose this was more true than false.

So, what is Calahan trying to do? Right now, he just seems to be running after Darian... Running at Darian? Running into Darian? Just making a scene? What'd Calahan's plan, Ivid?

Also, did anyone else want to meet with any of the other gnomes or do anything else while Darian is with Suki? There's still Pigglemorth, Sasha, and Kitten...

Calahan is just curious what will happen.

Plus, the mystery talk about Darian being someone else *behind his eyes** probably bores him.
After all, he thinks he's the tough guy, and since he hasn't noticed anything,
he might judge this to be just childish BS like "no, don't throw the grenade"...
