Thanks! It's fun trying to figure out the best way to set the stage for horror.

I was introduced to the world of RPG several years ago by a friend. Very shortly afterwards he left, and I was forced to figure things out on my own, and have since spent most of my time here.

Since then I've taken a keen interest in Ravenloft, which is why I jumped on this game so fast, and was ecstatic when Darian was accepted. As for setting the stage, I'm not sure that I've seen any better than you thus far. I only hope that in my inexperience that I've been able to play Darian at a level this game most assuredly deserves.

And thank you for a most welcome introduction into Ravenloft.

Hey IVV,

I"m in the process of updating Perrin, and making him a bit my own...I hope a few minor modifications to the PC won't be a problem? Also, would you be willing to allow me to give up the Animal Companion class feature for something else? Perhaps the alternate class feature from PHB2, or a free feat or something? Let me know.

Thanks!

BTW, sorry for Calahan freakin' out again. I was pretty tired when I posted the thing about the clocks, and totally misinterpreted the situation.
(No idea of how I got to think of a bomb thing. :uhoh: )

I kind of like the way you roleplay Calahan; however, it is sometimes difficult to imagine how he ever got into the constabulary with the way he freaks out. LOL.

Rhun, if you're interested in taking on Perrin full-time, then feel free to retool him. I'll let you swap out Animal Companion for something else, but I'll have to think of something.

Ivid, no problem. The ticking everywhere is supposed to be a little upsetting. And since everyone's expecting some kind of monster, this sort of tension is perfectly acceptable. I don't have to make people roll horror checks. Much. :]

Yeah, I think I am interested in playing him full-time. Chances are he will die under my control anyway. LOL. I'm just not big on Animal Companions, really, which is why I asked about swapping it out. If you come up with some ideas, let me know?

:) Thank you. I am still not used to play such extreme characters, and I feel that I am a bit overacting most of the time.
As to how Calahan made it into the police corps... I guess the same way people like Dirty Harry or Sam & Twitch do it. Luck, and everything else, from bribing to blackmailing...
