(OOC) DND 3.5 Enter Planescape

I just told you the map scale is about 10 square miles, you can go left to right in 2 miles and north to south in a total of 2.5 miles either way as it wraps around. Nothing should take more than an hour to travel through.
Okay, so we can do our original plan with only an hour of travel? If so, can we do that and move forward? I’m not sure anyone is against the plan.

I just told you the map scale is about 10 square miles,
You didn't express that in a way that I understood, unfortunately.

Thank-you for clarifying.

"The map I'm using the Gatehouse, the mortuary, the blood pit, and ragpicker's square are all part of the hive, the entire area about the size of Manhattan is filled with the xaosmen faction the armory is also here."

If you are house ruling the setting, please consider adding that to the first post.

@Brendan Byrd I wouldn't consider a source book I misread as house rules, its great that you are very familiar with the setting but every DM is going to interpret it differently and make mistakes. If the source book I have says that roads change and maps don't capture the area so it gives me landmarks then that is what I am using, there also isn't a 3.5 book on this.

As a player, with experience in planescape, please take a step back and allow me to DM. It is distracting from the story I am telling,

Allow me to clarify. If you want to shuffle the setting elements like a deck of cards, that's fine, nothing wrong with that. I asked you to consider mentioning that in the first post to avoid player confusion.

Done.

Edit: typo.

LOL, the question is, are the flies just random encounter or DM bait for quest information :D
I’m not sure. If it’s a second person, it might be worth investigating. If it’s happening to lots of people, it could be a clue to Eliah. (I think I keep spelling the name wrong) But once again, my character is so paranoid he’s going to get jumped that he’s not 100% sure he wants to follow crazies into a dark alley.

Whisper lasts 10 minutes, maybe Luke can go sneak and check it out while still remaining in contact.

@Neurotic

I keep spelling your character's name wrong. I'm used to spelling it Luc (because I'm used to spelling it the french way). So I keep throwing a 'c' in there. Luc, Luck, etc... My apologies if I get it wrong. I think I've been catching myself before I submit my posts.
