(OOC) DND 3.5 Enter Planescape

@Neurotic

I keep spelling your character's name wrong. I'm used to spelling it Luc (because I'm used to spelling it the french way). So I keep throwing a 'c' in there. Luc, Luck, etc... My apologies if I get it wrong. I think I've been catching myself before I submit my posts.
Eh, you can go with Lucky :) Lucky Luke was a comic book cowboy I read as a kid in the 80ties and it was old at that time :) My father started me on them with his own childhood comics (and he was born 1950)

Strategically, I think the group should spread out among the people and start chatting with people to get the lay of the land and what-not.

Maybe team up the Clueless with our two locals? Mr. Black is happy to fumble his way through stuff alone or to team up with someone.

Edit: to be a bit meta-gamey, if we pair up, anyone with low diplomacy or gather info can Aid the other to provide the +2 bonus.

Since we're all working towards the same goal, can we all aid to provide one person a bonus for a single check at the end of the night?

@OneCrappy DM : not sure how you want to do it.

We can split the party, and investigate multiple areas. If you want to split into twos that's fine, my opinion on the rulling for aid another;
"In many cases, a character’s help won’t be beneficial, or only a limited number of characters can help at once."
I will allow one assist on the rolls with the highest of the two taking the main roll for social situations. I feel that if three or more are trying to question or appease someone at one time may be too much to be actually beneficial.

I just imagined that we were all doing separate areas as we spread out to gather info. But I’m totally fine with that adjudication. It makes sense.
