(OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

No special reason I kept fireball unused, there weren't many places you can just blast away in the dungeon with large groups we had until now.

BOOM!

I’m at my cottage (we call it camp where I’m from) and I had the intention of not being preoccupied with electronics. I’ll be back home tonight to post in all my pbps.

@Kobold Stew could you post and order weed to attack the witch? Otherwise he might just keep stomping the ants but I think we need to focus fire here.

Have the gey target the hag with phantaamal force. She probably gets advantage on the save, but with many saves...if she fails one and the illusion is good, she might not be able to escape, see us or call for help and still take damage.

Choking chains/metal mask over the head would do a trick. Or furnace, that traditional hexbane 😀

Ants turning on her...that might be interesting

Let's just hope the dolls are worth the effort and not some local tribesman who know nothing (angel)

Sorry for the long delay, gang. I actually really love this party, but as @TaranTheWanderer has found with the summoning spells, some of the abilities of the PCs and the monsters take a bit of effort to adjudicate. I often feel (wrongly, sometimes) like I won't have time to get it done. Of course, when I'm smart, I simply split it up into bite-sized pieces, but I weirdly often forget that I can do that. I'll try to keep up, please join me!

I'm playing around with the new PHB, and it is interesting to me that with the new lucky feat, I can get Miss Imogen carried over to the new rules for the most part. There's very little that comes from her Samurai subclass, so she could slide into a different subclass and be PHB only. She has the (mostly plot-derived) one-level dip in Sorcerer, which could be kept, but since subclasses now come at level 3, she'd need to use Mage Armor instead (or take the dip in Warlock instead, which would let her have Mage Armor all the time through an invocation, but not have a cold-based cantrip. Anyways, it's a fun experiment.

I'm not saying that switching over is what we're doing, or what we should do -- for me it was just an experiment in what the new rules allowed and what would result.

I have no expectations that we will switch before these games are done.

...But we'll see how I feel when the DMG is out.

Either way, it could be done on an entirely voluntary basis. During the playtest my F2F group had some playtest PCs and others not. I don't think that the difference is particularly noticeable.
