Oooooh Monster Descriptions...

Ok, now that REALLY pisses me off. They should be in an errata file or something

PS: The ritual seems to have a component cost of 5000 per level of the creature created. But since that makes little sense, don't quote me on it.

Oh good, I was beginning to think nobody cared that they had those secret spells in the compendium. lol.

Aboleths aren't really evil by nature. They're just in a really really really bad mood because they can't find any kleenex.
One could build a campaign around that idea.

Heck, I'm playing in a Night Below campaign right now. Maybe we just need to bring several cartloads of tissue to Great Shaboath.

I'm an insider. I get extra awesome. :)

Actually I found these in the compendium before you had to subscribe to it, so it's not extra awesome.

I personally think they are mistakenly added to the compendium. Which is why I copied them all down incase they find their mistake and fix it.

Could be. I get the feeling the thought that they were supposed to go in the book but they didn't have the space option is the more correct option.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only DM out there that has the ability to come up with this stuff himself... am I right? Please say yes, there ARE other DMs who aren't clueless without a book telling them what to do?

Nope, you are the only genious in this whole world.

[rant] But there's so much ******* wasted white space in the Monster Manual!!! [/rant]

Okay, i feel better now.

The white space helps old man scribble's eyes. :)

In truth though, I'm becoming less and less interested in how the books look, or what they contain, and more and more intereted in the compendium + Bonus tools.

I almost never crack open my MM at the table, or even durring adventure creation. I use the compendium. It's just so much easier in my opinion, and contains loads more options.
