Hehe a burning sign reading FLAN? That is evil advertisement:)

On a lesser note, go Elan! Time to see what Tarquin can do in combat. I am hoping for a sneak attack by Haley. But could this actually postpone the gladiatorial combat?

It might postpone THAT fight, but I'm more looking forward to THIS fight all of a sudden. And I *love* that Tarquin appreciates the choice of location for the fight... not to mention the WHY of his dislike for Nale.

Both sons got their alignment from the parent that raised them. But Nale definitely got his mother's approach to things (singing about delivering mugs isn't exactly subtle) while Elan got his father's appreciation for doing things the 'right' way in terms of drama and motivation.

I'm excited that we may find out what class Tarquin is.

Personally, I thought the subtle bolding on "Exquisite" was the best of Tarquin's lines. Reminded me of a combination of Darth Vader and Palpatine for some reason.

I'm a bit worried for Elan, though, unless Haley snuck upstairs to see what's happening. I don't think Elan will be in a good state of mind for punning.

I thought of Count Rugen, the Six Fingered Man, when I read that line.

A good strip, all around. I am pleased. :)
