Umm, what is this thing about sound travelling 1 mile per second?

Last time I checked, sound moved at about 340.29 meters per second (I did say 350 at first then googled it) which is one HECK of a lot slower than 1 mile per second. 4 seconds would be about 1200 meters, or about 3/4 of a mile.

This is why I don't bother trying to argue science with players. :)

I USED to have a beard, but mainly cause I hated shaving. :) Although now, I'm supposed to shave for work. Guess scraggly beard doesn't cut it anymore. ;)

Yea, Durkon! Facial hair rules again! I loved Rich Burlew for his joke about the evil twin always being the one with the Van Dyke. Silly stereotypes. :D

All my male characters have had interesting face fur, even the halfling. (I haven't played a female dwarf yet, so that issue hasn't come up...) :uhoh:

Give Rich some slack!
We don't know it's all going to work out in the end and Rich has a good habit of working all of these things out in the end. It may very well have been a special domain power of the thunder domain after all...

All I'm saying is that we've seen the setup, let's wait for the full punchline.

I think this is one of the weaker parts of the strip, he reads threads such as these and puts fixes in later on to cover his mistakes. Feedback is one thing, but there have been references to fan complaints before in the strip and it just makes the strip feel ill-planned for my tastes.

As far as I know Rich doesn't read threads so he doesn't get influenced.

Jokes can be easily destroyed by overexplanation. I don't se puting in the explanation afterward as cheap.

That's funny, I'm totally the opposite! (Does this mean we're going to meet in Cliffport? ;))

I actually enjoy it a lot when Rich gives a little nod back at the fans who post on forums. How often do you get to have a conversation with an artist when they're replying via their medium?
