OotS #352 is up!

That's funny, I'm totally the opposite! (Does this mean we're going to meet in Cliffport? ;))

I actually enjoy it a lot when Rich gives a little nod back at the fans who post on forums. How often do you get to have a conversation with an artist when they're replying via their medium?

It's more of where you draw the line. Feedback for a comic is good, when we're talking broad things. I don't really see much of that though, as evidenced by the paladin, and Haley's speech. But sorting out errors because they get pointed out by the fans gets a bit tedious. It happens, but something about the way it happens in OotS is irksome to me.

I didn't understand it so I stopped and tried to figure it out then got frustrated realizing it's not that I missed something cool, its just a subpar moment in the strip. Good buildup, disappointing payoff.

Gating in a swarm of celestial termites that frighten the trees away, the divine part of flame strike bypassing the fire resistance, etc. all could have been cool tactics that worked without the jarring "huh?" factor of distant thunder snapping animated trees.

I feel the same way when otherwise cool movies have similar jarring moments.

I only read the first panel of OOTS #353 and Laughed out Loud...It is an unfortunate since where I work no one else would ever get the humour. I think OOTS #353 answers your question #352.

Ysgarran.
