I continue to hope that Miko will be less unfun as a blackguard than she was as a paladin.
Paladins always are. I look forward to seeing Rich's work on an LE blackguard, since he seems to have "gotten" paladins very well by my tastes.

Actually if Miko does fall I'm betting Belkar will be less satisfied with killing her- plus, she won't be able to call "Miko's stupid horse" anymore, though she'll be able to call an infernal steed in its place. But anyway it'll render that part of the Oracular answer moot. :)

Not necessarily...

The oracle said "Miko's stupid horse", not "Miko's stupid horse Windstriker". If Miko becomes a Blackguard, and starts summoning an infernal steed, then killing that infernal steed would technically satisfy Belkar's prophecy.

I don't think she will turn to the dark side. Although the important message from the dwarves might push her over the edge assuming it is trivial. But even then I think she can swallow her pride. I don't like the character, but I just don't see her as going evil...

I guess I'm the lone voice of dissent who thinks that Miko's gonna say no here. She's never been particularly polite or compassionate, but that doesn't mean she'd swear fealty to such an obvious source of evil just to strike out at the order of the stick. And this strip shows exactly how unconvincing Xykon can be.

If Miko falls, it will be through subtler means, such as belkars attempt (And I cannot believe that I just called Belkar subtle).

Also, the hints about Redcloak's faith are pretty cool. Does this mean he's a cleric of a philosophy?

Miko kinda reminds me of Anna Lucia from "Lost"; in that I prayed for their swift and painful deaths. I got my wish once, here's hoping Miko continues the trend.

Rich already has practice drawing her on fire, I've got the proof inside my copy of No Cure for the Paladin Blues.
