Oh fun, now Nalelan has to make the choice; kill Haley or... um... Sabine, maybe?

So I guess it's not really a decision, but still.

Poor, poor Vaarsuvius. That boy/girl needs a night off, and Belkar keeps ruining them.

Nale's a fighter/rogue/wizard specialized in enchantment spells.

He couldn't kill EITHER of them.

Sorcerer, but, uh, yeah.

I suspect he's only a smidgeon of fighter and rogue, and mostly sorcerer. Even then he'd still be a bit hard pressed, particularly against Sabine. Haley being unarmored and (presumably) unarmed, he'd have an easier time against. Slightly.

He's on the short line for the pain train though, either way.

1) Sabine goes back to confront them, drunkenly revealing Nale's true identity.
2) Nale tries to explain, but fails. Confronted with both women, Haley manages to escape while he's trying to explain to drunken Sabine
3) Haley, now knowing Nale's true identity, at least makes a joke about not being able to tell anyone because of the scramblespeak.
4) In order to get rid of the scramblespeak, she (perhaps alone) goes back to confess her <3 for Elan. She does so, ridding herself of the scramblspeak and one of the most annoying subplots in the strip. :)
5) While she's gone, Sabine persues her under orders from Nale, who is unaware that she can't speak, and so is affraid she's going to blab it.
6) Nale keeps up the ruse for at least another 10 strips, introducing the second most annoying subplot in the strip. :)

The most intelligent character is suggesting violence as the solution to infidelity?

Intelligent like a fox! "You will have MY GENETIC MATERIAL, and NO ONE ELSE'S!"

After all, isn't that the ultimate form of worldly success? A legacy?

Nigh-immortality of elves and wizards aside, the problem lies in the cheater and not in every single person who chooses to humor them.
