Also, wasn't Xykon watching Miko in his wide screen scrying crystal - explicitly to find the Gate? I'm guessing the next strip (or one not too far off) will have Xykon commenting on this (or even show him watching Miko as she is carried / dropped off at prison. \

Belkar's in prison again. I wonder how that will affect things?

Among other things, the guards will probably see through his illusion. Pity; it was almost as entertaining as Belkar himself. "Generic insult questioning your parentage!"

I don't think we see Miko's horse again. The horse seemed pretty sensible. No reason it would turn evil.

It gives Belkar a new ambition, though.

Phase 1: Redeem Miko.
Phase 2: Kill That Stupid Horse.
Phase 3: Get Miko To Fall Again.

Why does the horse Belkar kills have to be Windstriker (or whatever its name was)? Why can't it be a new horse Miko gets or summons?
