Redcloak has been getting more and more frustrated with Xykon since the lich was blown to bits the first time...it wouldn't surprise me much if he's finally reached the point where he's had enough. I'd be a little surprised, though.

Ah, I'd always assumed this was a constant frustration. Not necessarily seen it as escalating. YMMV.

I think Redcloak is going to use Xykon as bait to draw out the clerics and paladins of Azure City. He'll have the hobs ready to pinch them once they're out.

Remember, he's got a major rivalry with the priesthood of Azure City, or so it appears anyway.
