Well, maybe it's something he could do once he finishes the story and moves on to something else.

Of course, there still would be the grognards that would say "Hey, according to Roy's stat block, he could have never done *fill in the blank*!!"

On second thought, lack of stats at all seems to be the course of wisdom here.

Although, to his credit, when he does use a specific feat, spell or ability, the characters continue to use it and it doesn't change... ex: Haley and Multishot.

Belkar's playing a game.

The hobgoblin's (which, as mentioned above, Belkar can't attack due to the Mark of Justice), are the "Ducks", and the ghouls (which are undead and therefore fair game) are the "Geese".
