Really? I laughed out loud twice: Once on the "cribbed from another campaign setting" crack (Eberron) and once at the "Who's On First" riff.

I was thinking Sacred Watchers, myself. The Deathless aren't incorporeal, are they?

No, but given

A) The comment about positve energy, and more importantly

B) The long-lived friendly rivalry/ribbing between Rich and Keith

I tend to lean toward an Eberron interpretation.

Not that much funny (though the lines above caused a grin), but somehow I like it.
Fits Xykon's character pretty well and it was funny to see him on the defence, and annoyed/threatened and seeing Redcloak "saving the day" for Xykon.

Interestingly, I think this one proves that Xykon is a Sorcerer, rather than a Wizard:
* Has a Maximized Magic Missile even though he calls it his weakest spell.
* Switched easily from his previous anti-living type spells like Finger of Death to energy spells.
* Apparently has little in the way of Knowledge skills.

Plus his Int is too low to realize that the maximize spell feat is nigh-worthless for damage dealing, especially on magic missiles!

(5d4 empowered --> 18.75 hp, maximized only gets you 20.
5d6 empowered --> 26.25 hp, maximized only gets you 30.)

Sure, she's been in the cell praying all this time, but an illusion of Miko sitting still has got to be easier than an illusion of Belkar throwing random taunts.
