I thought of that, too.

Though, the reason I thought of that was an early episode of "Happy Days", in which a very young Joanie had a crush on Potsie. She had a dream in which she and Potsie were dating, in which she called Potsie a "dren" (the reverse of a "nerd").

You beat me to it! I was scanning down the thread, looking to see if anyone else had mentioned it.

Not just lasers, but frickin' lasers.

Oh, and my money's on "dead". It's been, what, three months since the Battle of Azure City? That's a long while to be paralyzed. He would have long since dehydrated, or starved.

Yeah, I knew I should have put frickin' in front of the lasers. I realised after I posted but I couldn't be bothered going back to edit my post.

No, it's not. His arms are in a different position and he has a different facial expression on his face. Plus, his hands are tied behind his back, which is sort of redundant if the person is paralyzed.
